The Kemper Arts Council was invited to join City Year Kansas City’s annual MLK Day of Service, where volunteers across the city work together to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through community-based projects. Partnering with Kansas City Public Schools, the Council helped paint murals throughout Primitivo Garcia Elementary to brighten the halls and support an environment that uplifts students, staff, and families. We’re grateful to City Year KC for including us in such meaningful work.
