Teen-led Saturday: Songwriting with Rebel Song Academy
In November of 2025, creative teens from the Kansas City area joined the Kemper Teens for a collaborative songwriting workshop led by Rebel Song Academy.. Together, they explored the intersection of music and visual art by writing and producing ONE song over the course of the session inspired by artwork on view at the Kemper Museum.
Rebel Song Academy deconstructs the entire creative process through songwriting, instilling transferable skills and mental health principles to help young artists discover the vital mindset needed for success in the real world.
